Symbolic representation of American history

A FACT-BASED VISUAL HISTORY PROJECT

The Consequences of America™

American History: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Examining 300 consequential actions in American history—100 Good, 100 Bad, and 100 Ugly—and the documented consequences directly caused by those actions.

THE PROJECT

History examined through actions and consequences

The Consequences of America™ is an ongoing visual-art and public-education initiative created by Theodore Jones. Each entry identifies a specific historical action, explains its documented context, examines the direct consequences it produced, and presents original visual artwork with explanatory commentary and cited sources.

No forced categories: Good, Bad, or Ugly consequences are not invented merely to fill a template.
